What is The Clothing Exchange Project?
An upscale event where ladies can refresh themselves and their wardrobes, save money and help the environment. In that we mean...
it’s a Ladies Night Out to relax, while exchanging clothing to renew your wardrobe. It’s healthy for your budget and the environment!

Simply bring your Exchange receipt to the event, this will let us know
how many items you are FREE to take with you.

What items are you accepting?

We are accepting slightly used and new items. Sorry, no damaged items or items needing repair. All sizes for women, plus, junior,
misses, and petite clothing. All sizes for shoes. No scuffs.
Accessories, including belts, hats, jewelry, handbags, wallets, etc.

We reserve the right to refuse items that do not

Are you ready? Closet Checklist:

Carefully, and honestly, go through your closet.
Ask yourself: Will I ever wear this or wear it again?
Does it fit now? Could I use something else?
Have a friend help you and then you help them.

We are accepting All styles and sizes of tops, bottoms, shoes, handbags, belts, scarves, and other accessories that are new or slightly worn.

Can I bring items to exchange the day of the event?
In order for all to enjoy the event, we will not accept items at that time. All items will be steamed and refreshed prior to the exchange event. Please take time now to go through your closets.  You don’t want to miss out!

WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO DO PICKUPS.

Can I come even if i haven’t given items to exchange?
Most certainly! In addition to the items being steamed and refreshed, they will be tagged as well for purchase.
Purchases are done, however, after the exchanges have been complete.
Many local consignment shops have also donated items. There will be plenty to choose from.

Will you have my size?
We will certainly ensure that we receive a variety of sizes for clothing and shoes.

What if I cannot find items I like?
We find that highly unlkely, but in the event that you do not find something for yourself, please first, choose something for a gift. If you cannot, we will have a receipt issued to you for your tax write-offs.

Can men or children participate?
This is an adult-only event. Gentlemen are welcome to attend, however we will not have men’s or children’s clothing.

After the event, where do the leftover items go?
At the end of the event, the items that are remaining will be donated to two charities/non-profits.
Helping Hands Assistance Program and Oasis Compassion Agency.

We are staffed with planners, coordinators, and volunteers. If you would like to participate, please email us at pbclothingexchange@yahoo.com. There are also sponsor opportunities as well as limited vendor space available businesses and organizations. Our plan is to have this type of event 2-4 times a year. This being our first in Palm Beach County, we would love your input and feedback. Email us at pbclothingexchange@yahoo.com. We will include men and children in future events.
